Bethells Beach Walk & Shoot

We are heading to Bethell’s Beach today with our cameras and guidance from Club member Kevin Lam.
Kevin is a keen and great photographer, and whether you have a fancy camera, or a smart phone, he will teach us some tips and tricks how to make the best photos when on a tramp.
This is an extremely picturesque area so it’s an ideal moment to prep for the yearly photo competition.
We will do a bit of walking to get ourselves used to different sceneries. You may be walking on sandy surfaces, uneven rocky surfaces and walking up short steep areas of the sand dunes.
If you want to come out for a walk only around Bethell’s, you are welcome too of course.
Trail runners are most suitable; sand and salt water will deteriorate tramping boots.

Cost: $20 members – includes $5 Diesel surcharge, $25 non-members – includes $5 Diesel surcharge. Please bring the correct change!

Non-members and Massey University Albany Tramping club members who haven’t tramped with the club before must contact the organiser to check suitability of the tramp.
