Bivouac Albany is hosting a special club night for us and will talk about planning and getting your gear ready for Autumn and Winter tramping, including winter versus summer layers, merino vs polypro, sleeping bags and making sure your tent and raincoat are in good condition and waterproof and different types of grippy footwear for tramping, trail runners, mini boots and tramping boots and a lot more. Including for new members the basics you need to start with (Massey University, UniClub) and new NSTC'ers will find this useful.
Purchases can be made on the night if something takes your fancy! Don’t forget Bivouac offer our Financial Club Members a generous discount upon proof of your club membership card & FMC (Federated Mountain Clubs Membership Card also). Information will help you plan and prepare for day trips and overnight trips and long weekend trips. Added bonus as there will be cool Gear Prizes on the night!!
