Nature Care Reserve Event - Saturday 18th October

Time:  10am -12pm only
Where:  In the carpark, right of 20 Vanderbilt Parade, Albany (off Rosedale Road)

As part of giving back to the community and environment,
we'll be heading out to Fernhill Escarpment (the stunning forest Escarpment behind Massey University) for some more weeding this Saturday at 10am again, our monthly event.  
As it's Tradescantia that we're pulling out, it's easy work and super satisfying how quickly you see a result of the area we're working in.
Weeding is extremely important, as Tradescantia is smothering all the baby native trees.   Without our help, those little trees might not survive!

What you need:   clean gloves (cheap gloves will be fine), clean sturdy footwear, usual water and we stop for a quick morning yummy morning tea, often chocolate biscuits.  

Please bring a change of clean footwear to drive home in.
