Ambury Farm & Mangere Mountain

This is an extremely scenic urban tramp, so definitely bring your camera and maybe some binoculars for bird spotting.
We will head up and around the 107-metre summit of Mangere Mountain. There’s a great view out to the Waitakere Ranges across the other side of the Manukau Harbour as we make our way around this coastal tramp.
Approximately 21kms in total for the medium distance, with another potential 7kms if time permits and the Long party want to stretch their legs around the other side of Puketutu Island & Stonefields, with easy, fast footing.
Trail shoes or running shoes you don't mind getting dirty would be most suitable.
Please ensure all footwear and gear are clean as we will be in an area with Kauri.
Bring plenty of water.
