Native birds, bush and beautiful views in suburbia!
There’s a little bit of everything in today’s outing; cliff top walks, plenty of climbs and descents, including a steep stair climb out of
Kendall Bay. Awesome views will make it all worthwhile.
Expect to be on uneven surfaces most of the day however we will start and end the day on a well maintained, easy walking track.
We’ll walk through Chelsea Heritage Park and into the beautiful bush along the cliff top and dropping down into Kendall Bay beach. A sharp climb to a wonderful lookout gives amazing views of the city. Coming back out of Kendall Bay via a steep uphill staircase, we will head into Chatswood bush and back out again in the Chelsea Heritage park, taking a slightly different loop to get back onto our path back to Little Shoal Bay.
There’s the chance to treat yourself to an ice-cream or coffee at the end of the walk. Approximate distance is 13km. Good trail shoes will be fine.
