Brick Bay, to Scandrett Point Regional Park, Coastal.

Sunday 12 November 9am departure

Option 1

Medium

Starting from the end of Brick Bay Drive, head south around the rocks and onto the vast tidal beach of Snells Beach, (expect a bit of a scramble around the rocks with tide times) carrying on south heading to the next headland and onto Algies Bay, dependent on tide times we will visit the Highfield Gardens where you will meet some interesting local wildlife inhabitants and take in some lovely views of the outer Hauraki Gulf. From the end of Algies we will continue south around the rocky point to Goldsworthy Bay and onto Scandrett Regional Park before retracing our footsteps back to the bus.

Option 2

Easy casual

Starting from the end of Brick Bay Drive, head south around the rocks (expect a bit of a scramble with tide times) and onto the vast tidal beach of Snells Beach, it’s from the northern end of the beach you will depart from the beach and head up Kokihi Lane and onto Arabella Lane to the entrance of the Wine & Sculpture trail, the trail is a pay to enter and is about 2 kilometers long, allow 1 hour for the trail plus a booking is required if you wish to have the dinning and wine tasting experience as well. Please follow the link for pricing walking and dining options, you must book yourself (link below). After that you will head back down to Snells Beach and head south to meet the return party, or you can just chill out on the beach and wait for them.
