Browns Bay to Devonport Coastal Walk

We will walk along the coast towards the south, past Rothesay Bay, Murrays Bay, Mairangi Bay and on to Devonport. Low tide is just after midday so we should get a good bash at walking along the beach and rocks.
There will be some road walking due to tide and access constraints due to recent weather events . Walk is a mix of sand, rocks, boardwalk and residential streets. Expect to get your feet wet.
Next to Devonport wharf is a bus terminal from where you can take a bus to Takapuna and Akoranga Station.
NOTE: No bus today, please make your own way to Browns Bay.
Depart: Meet at 2 Anzac Place Browns Bay at 8.45am, we will depart at 9am. (Meet on grassed area in front of the beach, by the War Memorial).
Parking: There is limited, all day free parking at Manly Esplanade. There is also ample free parking at Freyburg Park (Woodlands Cres) by the bowls and tennis courts. (Allow 10 minutes to walk from here to the meet up point).
There are cafes nearby, also a busy Sunday morning market to visit if you get there early.
