Southern Kaimai/ Mamaku Mini Weekend.

Ngatuhoa is at the northern end of the Mamaku plateau – a wide, generally flat plateau dissected by deep gorges carved by spring-fed streams draining from the south towards the Tauranga Harbour.  

One of the walks, Te Rere I Oturu Falls, can be reached either by the Overland Track (5-6 hours return), the Top Track (4-5 hours return), or the Whio Track (4 hours return).  If this doesn’t interest you, then there are 3 one-hour walks - a nature trail, loop track, Ngatuhoa Falls. A perfect location for a winters tramp or a bit of R & R. This should satisfy most levels of fitness! 

Cost: $130.  Please pay $20 deposit on booking to secure your accommodation with balance in full due by 1 August.
