PUHOI TRAMP
For our trip to Puhoi we will start at the car park in Remiger Road. One party will follow the ridge across farmland to a high rocky point, from there they will follow the trails through Dunn’s Bush before returning to the car park. This is a bush track that could be muddy with some hills for those that want a good workout.
The second party will walk the scenic Puhoi Track to the Puhoi township and back along the same track, total distance 10km. This is more of a walking track than a tramping track but also has some good hills to get the heart pumping. There is also the option of walking one way and filling in the remaining time in Puhoi while enjoying the food and atmosphere of the iconic Puhoi Pub.
Depart: 8.30 The Strand, Takapuna
9.00 am Silverdale Bus Station. **For pickups at Silverdale, please register via the site or contact the trip organiser.
