North Shore Tramping Club
No bus today but registrations are required please.
To celebrate the lifting of some covid restrictions we will do a local walk of 4-5 hours starting at 9.00am at Little Shoal Bay.
The route will head up on the newish track in Le Roy’s Bush, over through the Northcote College grounds to Kauri Glen Reserve, over Pupuke Road through to Monarch Park, through to Gretel Scenic Reserve, on to Eskdale Bush Reserve, through Ridgewood Reserve, on to Birkenhead War Memorial Park, down Huka Road to Chelsea Bay Reserve and then a circuit through Kauri Point Centennial Park, back to Chelsea Bay and over the hill to return down through Le Roy’s Bush to our cars at Little Shoal Bay.
Wow wee !! Time for a lunch stop along the way. Expect 4-5 hours walking to help get fit for the Christmas Trip. Mixed terrain but trail shoes, tramping boots or even running shoes should be fine.
