Join us to experience the Botanical Track, which the Mangawhai Tracks Charitable Trust group have added to their Brynderwyn network.
Longer and shorter routes are available on the Tanekaha, Puriri Loop and Waterfall Tracks. As the names suggest you will be in picturesque bush on the ridges and beside gentle streams in the gullies.
Long Party: Tanekaha Forest Track, detouring along the Botanical Track, visiting the first waterfall, walking the Tanekaha Puriri Track, rejoining the Tanekaha Falls Track, returning via Langsview Track and the Tanekaha Forest Track.
Medium Party: Tanekaha Falls Track, the Tanekaha Puriri Track, visit the Kauri Dam and return via Tanekaha Falls Track, Botanical Track and Tanekaha Forest Track.
Short Party: follow the same route as the medium party except it will be in the reverse direction.

**** As Kauri Dieback can also infect Tanekaha and Rewarewa please ensure that all your gear is thoroughly clean, especially those that did the Great Barrier away trip last weekend. Please ensure you have a spare pair of footwear to leave on the bus in a bag for the trip back.
