The Coromandel Walkway, Anzac weekend.
10 kilometers one way.  Tents required.

The Coromandel Walkway offers one of the best coastal walks and coastal views in the country. We will walk along coastal cliffs and the odd bush covered valley; in those valleys we should be able to see and hear Kaka calling. We will get eye level views of Gannets cruising up and down the cliffs and splendid views of Channel Island, Great Barrier Island and Cuvier Island plus the rugged coastline of what is the Coromandel Peninsular.

You will have the option of tenting at Fletcher's Bay and exploring that area or returning to camp at Stony Bay. We will all overnight (Saturday) at the Coromandel classic picturesque Waikawau Bay campsite and have plenty of time to explore.

Leaving Como Street, Takapuna Saturday 24th of April at 8.00am. Return Monday 26th  (long Anzac Weekend)

We will head to Waikawau Bay campsite on the eastern side of the Coromandel Peninsular for the night.
