Mt Te Aroha, Kaimai Ranges

Climb Mt Te Aroha, the highest peak in the Kaimai Ranges and get amazing views southward towards Mt Ruapehu and Pirongia.

The tramp starts from the Te Aroha Domain.  Parties to suit all with a good degree of fitness, as this is a 956 metre climb to the summit & gets steeper towards the summit.
There may be time for an icecream at the end of the tramp.

** Very important, please bring warm clothing in your pack.  Even if it is very warm in the township, it can be extremely cold at the summit or it maybe warm or very unpredictable.

** For pickups from Greenlane pickup point please register via the site or contact the organiser

• 8am The Strand, Takapuna
• 8.15 Marewa Road, Greenlane. On road, by where it says NZ Tertiary College - by the pinky tree, opposite the McDonalds exit.
