Kaipara Heads & Te Rau Puriri Regional Park, South Head

Registration is closed
As it's been a while since last we visited the area, with low tide around 8.38am we'll make the most of it and head through the mangrove path to the beach and find a bit of elevation to enjoy spectacular views across the largest harbour in the southern hemisphere, the Kaipara Harbour, South Head.   
Then we'll head to the pretty, coastal Te Rau Puriri Regional Park for a good walk around.  

Bring swimwear in case we can find somewhere for a swim during the day.

As it's still summer and bound to be a hot day, PLEASE ensure you have plenty of WATER with you!!!

Please ensure all your gear is clean, in case we pass any Kauri'd areas and as always ensure you thoroughly clean your gear afterwards.  Also bring footwear for after in the bus & a bag for your worn footwear.  

**Please note early departure time

** For pickups from Silverdale pickup point please register via the site or contact the organiser
