Day One: Tramp Aongatete Road end to camp site at junction of North/South track and Wairere Track. Water close by. 3-4 hours.
Day Two: Tramp from Camp on the North/South track to the new Te Whare Okioki Hut. $15 per night for bed in the new hut – bookings are required. Please book the hut yourself direct via https://www.doc.govt.nz/parks-and-recreation/book-online/?op=departme75&pid=11525. Plenty of free camping space available.
Day Three: Tramp from hut out to Te Tuhi Road via the North/South track and the Te Tuhi track. Met by bus at Te Tuhi Road. 6.67km 3-4 hours. Aim to be at the bus early afternoon.
Home Track Clearing party. $0
Day One: Tramp in from Aongatete Road to camp site on the track. 1-2 hours. Track clearing.
Day Two: Track clearing.
Day Three: Tramp from camp site to Wairere Falls and out to Goodwin Road. Picked up by bus. 4-5 hours. Aim to be at the bus early afternoon.
