September Social Evening -South America

Kate and Keith Malcolm earlier this year spent two months in South America. They did some multi day walks as well as having a month long tour of Argentina and Chile and seeing the Iguazu Falls, the Perito Moreno Glacier, Pucon volcano, Ushuaia and Tierra del Fuego.

Two tramps were the stunning W trek (a trek in the shape of a W) in Torres del Paine National Park in southern Chile and the Salkantay trek into Machu Picchu, Peru (an alternate to the Inca Trail) – which they will be concentrating on with their presentation.

Be prepared for some amazing slides, and bring those questions you have about South America along to get answers on.

Everyone is welcome. The social evenings are a great way of connecting, and staying in touch with all your NSTC tramping friends. Meetings are held on the last Wednesday of every second month.

A light supper is provided.
