Hapuakohe Walkway (northern end), Waikato

A great day out, with varied bush and magnificent views to the Huntly power station, Mt Te Aroha, the Hauraki Plains and the Gulf. The short and medium groups will do a 5-hour return trip from the northern end through to the second lookout. The distance group will walk the full length of the track for about 6 hours.
