PLEASE NOTE - Overnight tramping
trips are primarily for club members. Any Non members wishing to be
considered for an away tramping trip must have been out with the club
or have proven tramping experience and ability and be known to club
members.
Priority will be given to club members.
2010
1-3 October 2010 - RANGITOTO
ISLAND - Rangitoto Island
Join our annual trip to this popular island. This
is a mini weekend taking a water taxi on the Friday evening. We will
stay both Friday and Saturday nights at the Girls Brigade cottage and
the Fisher’s cottage (depending on numbers) at Islington Bay. We return
on the Sunday afternoon with Fullers. Flexibility is the plan – trek
around the island or to the summit. Some may try the coastal route
circumnavigating the island. Kayaking, fishing and of course there is
Motutapu as well. Or maybe just chilling out with a good book!! Barbeque
on the Saturday evening.
The cost is approx $50 per head (will be firmed up)
