2008
Little Barrier Island
A rare opportunity to visit this special place!
The Little Barrier SupportersTrust are organising two working weekends:
30 / 31 August (back-up dates 6/7 Sept) and 13 / 14 Sept (back-up dates 27/28 Sept).

Because there is always a big interest in these trips (a limit of 10 on each), our club can not book as a group and take up all the places, but we can apply individually, and after the closure date (Thurs 24 July) all enquiries will be considered, a ballot held, and you MAY be lucky!
The weekends are a happy mix of voluntary work (Sat) and walking, birdwatching, photography, fishing etc (Sun). The total cost of $170 includes the boat from Sandspit, DOC fees including permit, and very good bunkhouse accommodation.
You need to be fit and agile enough to cope with a tricky landing on large slippery boulders.
Any queries to Barbara Lobel
