Joining Details
In order to join the club it is required
that propective members undertake at least two qualifying day trips ( qualifying means a
tramp of reasonable duration rather than a family style of trip).
The qualifying trips
most often are typical Sunday day trips which last for approximately
5-6 hrs ( or longer in summer). Trampers are normally grouped
according to capability and there is no requirement to book - just
turn up at the appropriate departure place (activities page) 15
minutes prior to departure and be ready for a good days walking (Bring
lunch & drink).
Membership forms can be
obtained from the club bus, the web site or can be sent out by arrangement - the forms will require the
signatures of the day trip leaders and seconded by a committee member ( these folk are not
actually as rare as you may think and are actually able to be seen on day trips!) .
