The club boot   Efforts have been made to use the club’s traditional boot sign where possible- on the web page and in the newsletter.

Renewal of Membership On-Line - Garry is working on  this.

Web Page Trip Reports section of Web page It was decided that the Trips report section of the web page should only have club trips, and that these should be recent ones. The committee felt that this is what people want to see when they look on our club web page.

Website stats100 visitors per week go to the web page – half of whom are new people.

Which sections do they visit? Mostly they are accessing the “What’s On” section and the “Trip Reports” closely followed by “How to Join” which is all very encouraging.  It is mostly New Zealanders who  are accessing our web page

(Special thanks to John for all the hard work he put in over the Christmas break to do this much needed update of our web page. It will be the best possible advert for the club and point of contact for people interested in coming out with us. Blane Cameron, who developed the old site, really likes the new web page – and he sends his very best wishes to all his tramping friends in NSTC  - Trish)
